A READER WHO SAYS HE IS A FORMER PROSECUTOR AND JUDGE EMAILS:

Did the prosecution tell Flynn’s lawyer that their main witness against him was removed for bias? Since Strzok led the interview and his testimony would be needed to establish untruthfulness, he is a critical witness not just a prosecutor. If not disclosed, would this not be a Giglio violation? This is the kind of misconduct that can get a case dismissed and a lawyer disbarred. It is a Constitutional violation. This has bothered me since I heard about it.

Though to be clear, I’m not a former prosecutor. But with no recording and a witness who’s been dismissed for bias. . . .

  3. Is it possible that Flynn knew exactly what he was doing when he took the plea in order to end the witch hunt and his lawyers knee about the Giglio Rule? maybe they were privy to the impending downfall of Stzrok and knew he had been removed for corruption. Its possible.

  5. No Miranda required in that situation. But I believe Strzok is nose diving fast. He was reassigned to the Human Resources Division to supervise fat lesbian women and alcoholic has beens.

    I believe Strzok may have to take the fall for Coma and Muller and say that on his own doing, he falsified the reports he prepared after the interviews of Huma, Mills, and Hitlery.

  16. I don’t know whether Flynn lied to the FBI or was just tripped up on ‘gotcha’ questions. I do know that Trump said he lied to Pence & that’s why he was fired.
    Frankly, I think Flynn probably did lie to Pence & Trump believed (hoped?) that if he canned Flynn the jackals would be satisfied … now he must realize nothing will satisfy the jackals but Trump’s scalp hanging from a pike on Capital Hill
    I also know that New User is correct: never talk to the law in a questioning situation without council present

  27. In the last 15 years there have been so many instances of arguably illegal FBI wrong-doing instead of the old derring-do, that it should be a legally acceptable defense for Flynn to state he had to lie and withhold, to save the USA and Earth from what the FBI might do with certain truths!!!

    I miss the old FBI, CIA, or my romantic era rememberances of them.

    My old bosses, (ASA was under them), NSA, used to be the best of the good guys…
