   My sump pump stopped working. PatriotRetort has been down since 2AM and I can’t get in touch with my web host to find out what’s wrong. My immunosuppressant is leaving me vulnerable to every virus and bug in the universe so I’m constantly sick. And all that made me a wee bit cranky this morning. So thanks for cheering me up.

    A pair of Mallards has taken up residence in the condo pool.
    They better move before it opens or well have 2 plus however many turd machines in the pool.
    (And not just the human kids)

13. If corgies are anything like their larger collie cousins they’re herding that cat. My collie Buddy used to ride herd on my kids when they were little and was always watching out for them.

15. I know Canada geese are messy critters – but there ain’t nothin’ cuter than seeing a line of little ones following their mama! Thanks Claudia!

    Claudia, thank you for the weekly animal pics. Last week’s “praying animals” fascinated our 2.5 year old grandson. We just finished saying prayer before lunch and I showed him how the animals put their “hands” together to pray, jist like him. He understood and grinned from ear to ear.

    He has the hand folding down pat, but the sign of the cross needs atad more finesse. BTW, he’s started to use our little garden fountain as a holy warer fount when he passes it.. 🙂

17. Unlike most Progressive lemmings, these animals have a reason for, and a sense of where they’re going.

18. Great pics. Reminds me of just last night. My son and I were sitting in the car while Tired Dad ran into a restaurant for us to get some carryout, and there appeared a feral mamma cat with three kittens following behind her in a row. Such sweet little critters.
