Gender Gap At The Ballot Box

New York Magazine

Barring a giant polling error, the 2020 election will witness the largest gender gap in partisan preference since women gained the franchise. As CNN’s Harry Enten observed earlier this month, Biden’s average lead among women in recent interview polls is about 25 points; no nominee of either party has ever led by that much among women in a final preelection survey, not even in the landslide years of 1964 and 1984. And yet, in those same surveys, Trump leads among men by three points. In 2016, the gender gap in voting preference was 20 points; if current polls hold steady, it will be 28. More

  1. Bull shit. More whacked polls. You think they would have learned something from 2016.

Edit, You would think the attendance at Trump rallies would give the cause to question there data. And the reason they don’t is because these polls are nothing but Psyops.

  2. Too many women watch day time television where Rachel Madcow and the like constantly drill into them that Trump is a liar and a misogynist. My aunt has fallen so far over for it that she has not only declared that she is no longer a Republican, but has contributed to Harris/Biden.

To many women, Hitlery’s loss was Their loss. Orange man bad.

  3. While I don’t believe the polls, I have first hand examples of two well educated women who hate Trump’s tweets and boorish comments and think he embarrasses himself on the world stage. As a result they voted for Biden.

In other words they are motivated by emotion, they are uninformed and don’t have a clue about how corrupt the DC establishment and related cottage industries are.

As such they don’t understand that Trump is a warrior, albeit messy and imperfect, on a mission to expose and foil the globalist NWO totalitarians. Just that statement alone causes extreme eye rolls and cognitive dissonance, and is immediately tuned out.

It’s sad and depressing. The key will be if there are enough converts to our side to offset these uninformed voters.

  4. Mature women with children to worry about want security and safety for their families. They are the female Trump base.
The politically rabid, childless, abortion lovers are Biden’s.

  5. Eponymous

My experience is just the opposite. I meet a lot of young people in general that love Trump. Especially the girls/women. The older women are the ones I see tearing Trump Campaign signs out of yards at 6:00 am on my way to the gym. That’s no bull shit.

  6. Careful Tony R – you always have to acknowledge that there are exceptions to the rule. It holds true with every large group. It’s statistics, the bell curve and all that. In the case of emotion driven women, it’s all about increasing that standard deviation. 😉

  7. Look – There is No WAY that more women will vote for Joe Biden in 2020 than Hitlery Clinton in 2016. President Trumps base has grown enormously in the last four years. He was a brash unknown in 2016 so many shied away. He is way more popular now because people have become comfortable with him AND he has done so much in the last four years. People have also seen that nothing the democraps threw at him stuck. He’s as clean as a whistle!

  8. Call me a sexist, but if I were to list the 100 most shallow and stupid people I’ve ever met in my life, 95 of them would be women. It’s almost beyond comprehension how mindnumbingly obtuse some of them are.

I once had an argument with a woman with a masters degree in epidemiology who worked as a data analyst for a pharmaceutical company that if the Sun disappeared one day, we’d all be dead in a week. She disagreed. She honestly couldn’t see the importance of the Sun in maintaining life on Earth. And her vote was worth as much as mine.

  9. I will never forget the lady who told me that she voted for John Edwards because he had such nice hair. She also told me she was looking for a new car. I asked her what kind, and she replied, “a red one”. Not a joke.
