The news signs inform everyone traveling by road into Florida that the Sunshine State has implemented E-Verify security measures.

E-Verify is a background check system for employers to see if prospective hires are in fact legally authorized to work in the United States.

Speaking to Breitbart, DeSantis’s office said the signs are now visible on all three main interstate gateways into Florida along I-10, I-95, and I-75.

The move comes after Florida’s legislature passed E-Verify measures last year.

The Republican governor signed the legislation into law last summer. more

  1. We need more Governors and politicians who will enforce the law instead of ignoring and/or subverting the law!!

  2. How well will Florida enforce the law? Will they actually prosecute businesses and business owners to either bypass or ignore the law? It has to be enforced and punishment of those caught breaking the law must be swift and harsh. Otherwise it will be as effective as Joe Biden’s current immigration policy.

  3. So, get a verifiable fake ID.
But you don’t need one to vote in a federal election.
We shoot every third Messican, and the first two just went by… would be more effective.

  4. I am reluctant to cheer for any Republican or (Conservative in Canada) because they eventually stab you in the back. I Hope DeSantis is solid but who can really tell.

Only guy I trust, who was almost 100% correct was DJT.

When a politician tells the public the truth, it means he trusts the intelligence of his citizens and actually believes in the society he is part of.

    When they lie…. The opposite.
