Gov. Moonbeam: ‘In Less Than 5 Years’ Even the Worst Climate Change Skeptics ‘Are Going to Be Believers’

Breitbart- Sunday on CBS’s’ “Face the Nation,” Gov. Jerry Brown (D) said the increasing wildfires in California meant that “in less than five years” the “worst skeptics” were going to be believers in climate change.

On the California fires, Brown said, “Well, how they started is now the subject of investigation. The consultation occurs because the brush, the vegetation is so dry, and the humidity is so low. And when you have that and then the heat and years of drought, that gets it going. In paradise, there were a lot of buildings that also caught fire, and it just went from one to the other. So it’s a mixture of many things, and the president talked about how our forests are managed. That’s an element. But there is also the way the houses were built, the materials, what kind of vegetation is around, and then there’s also the changing climate and the increasing drought and the lowered humidity and water vapor. All of that is combining to create the tragic situation that we saw today in both northern California and here in southern California.”

  6. I’m certain we have gone past the 5 year warning for the end of the world as we’ve known it at least six times already.
    Besides, I think the reason for the more frequent damaging forest fires is the knuckleheads will not permit the forest to be properly managed and the dead wood cleared out by safe methods.

  10. Brown can’t even grasp what we skeptics are skeptical about. It’s not about whether climates change: they do, always have, and always will. It’s about (a) how much and how fast are climates changing, (b) how good the good changes are compared to how bad the bad changes are, (c) whether human activity has anything to do with the changes, implying will modifying activity have any effect on climate, and (d) just why is it that all climate alarmists insist that the only possible course of action is to establish a world govt to crush freedom and enforce communism?

  14. Let’s see now…low humidity (“dry air”), high winds…can any body say, “static electricity”? People like that should keep their ignorant mouths shut…when it comes to science, especially climate science.

    I bet he does not even know that CO2 is heavier than air. So if you want to scare people about global warming, just take all your measurements at, or near, sea level. Then compare it to previous measurements by others who collected measurements at a variety of or higher altitudes.
