Communists succeed using several tactics, such as going into the streets screaming and chanting the exact phrases repeatedly until people believe them. If that doesn’t work, they often become violent.
One tactic they use is to call political opponents Nazis, fascists, and other hateful names until they associate their opponents with the evil acts of Nazis, communists and fascists. The idea is to demonize the opposition. more
Of course it does. And a lot of losers and useful idiots. Soros and his crazy aon need to be investigated and hopefully prosecuted.
The editor of the regional online rag made a very big deal of the HUGE turnout for the Hands-Off rally in my small town of approx 25,000. So, I checked out the photo gallery, assuming I would see quite a few people I know. In what was claimed to be a crowd of about 500 (it wasn’t), I recognized exactly two people. Both are over 70 and retired here from big blue cities.
I actually expected to spot more familiar faces, as I mingle with the artsy crowd, the historic society, and the farm-to-fork folks. (My sensible acquaintances are at work and church.) Demographics for these groups are about the same as for the rally: skewed heavily senior citizen, white, and urban refugees. But the locals weren’t there. I searched the names in the captions and looked at social media posts about the rally. Every name I found came from elsewhere: the college town 30 minutes away, the Democratic Club 20 minutes east of here, etc. The one (yes, one) black person in the photos is running for some local office in some other locality. They all descended on our town because the county courthouse is here and makes for a good photo op, and our town has more name recognition with the tourists and the media than where they traveled from.
The local libs were doing what they always do on a gloriously sunny Saturday in spring: shopping at the farmers’ market, grabbing lunch at the cafes, and touring the nearby wineries. And maybe worrying about their stock prices but not enough to join the ‘Resistance.’
Fake News. Fake ‘grassroots local protests.’
This was an all hands on deck protest. Someone or someones spent a ton of money on this. I took a couple days off the interwebb for mental health purposes, did my usual wake up at 4:00 am pre gym time, hit up Reditt, which now I’m permanently banned from. And there’s a pic of some old 78 something grandma holding a sign that reads, “I’d call Trump a cunt, but he lacks depth and warmth”. Which I responded, how clever, this lady has no class and I hope to God she has no grandchildren. That did the trick. I guess part of my point is this, Twitter was a sound chamber for the libtards until Elon stepped in. Reditt has taken it’s place. I get the free speech thing, but when you start openly calling for the assassination of people you don’t agree with, there’s a big ass problem.
Claude Rains was asked to comment, he said “I’m shocked”…
