Pianist, composer, Nahre Sol (or Alice if you prefer) posted a compilation of “Happy Birthday” played in the style of 10 composers (Bach, Beethoven, Shubert, Chopin, Litz, DeBussy, Satie, Rachmaninoff, Glass, and Stephen Reich ) . As each version is played Sol adds description of the particular flourish and style elements that makes each famous composer unique unto himself.
It’s not just a wonderful performance, where if one listens close you can hear the underlying “Happy Birthday” melody, but a music lesson on both history and technique used by the greats. Watch
