The name that keeps surfacing, like a dead fish that’s been rotting from the head first, is Victoria Nuland. She worked for Hillary Clinton before burrowing her way into the State Department to become John Kerry’s Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. A post she held from 2013 until January 25, 2017.
Turns out Ms. Nuland gave a critical approval that allowed Comey’s FBI to directly contact dossier writer Christopher Steele, just as the bureau was looking for any pretext to undermine then candidate Donald Trump in July 2016.
