Hillary on Franken – He Doesn’t Need To Resign, He Is My Friend

American Lookout: Hillary Clinton came to Al Franken’s defense during a radio interview yesterday. She said that her “friend” Franken is doing all the right things in the wake of his scandal and that he doesn’t need to resign.

From the New York Daily News:

When it comes to allegations of sexual misconduct, Hillary Clinton sees a clear difference between Democrats and Republicans.

The former secretary of state chatted with WABC radio host Rita Cosby in a sweeping Friday afternoon interview centered on sexual impropriety in politics, fielding questions about GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore, President Trump, her husband and Democratic Sen. Al Franken.

“He’s a good friend of mine and I deeply regret what he did. There’s no excuse for his behavior but he has called for an investigation and apologized to the woman involved,” Clinton said. “Look at the contrast between Al Franken, accepting responsibility, apologizing, and Roy Moore and Donald Trump who have done neither.”

  1. Actually, it might be better if Franken stays in office. He’ll be reminded of this for the rest of his term, whenever he holds a press conference these questions will come up, at official meet and greets there will be snickering and barely repressed laughter behind his back, people back home may be incentivized to dig a whole lot deeper into the “found ballots” that gave him the win and finally he will be a negative reflection on the Democrat party each and every remaining day he’s there. Besides the governor would just appoint a Liberal Democrat that might actually be effective.

  2. An unserious quasi news organization (aka partisan megaphone) interviews an unserious criminal individual about morality. Mrs William Clinton?

Cmon now. When is this person going to go away? She is a laughingstock sticking up for a laughingstock. All y’all need to go away.
