Well if it happened that way it was funny. I wouldn’t tell it to anyone under the age of 18, and I think only a black person can tell the joke and get a laugh out of it. It’s all in the delivery….

First time I heard this joke was 11th grade, 1959 in Pittsburgh. Still brought a laugh after all these years.

That was fuggin funny, even if it really didn’t happen – which I suspect it didn’t, and that the speeding ticket was part of the joke. Either way, it don’t matter, that gave me a good laugh.
