Washington Examiner; Every major leftist movement the world has seen has been totalitarian by nature. Occasionally this brand of extremism arises elsewhere along the ideological spectrum, such as Islamo-fascism, but Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany remain the archetypes of the socialist genre of dictatorship among many incarnations which clearly include today’s “liberal Democrats” in the United States.
Contemporary liberal Democrats reveal their totalitarian proclivities in many subtle ways, such as support for single-payer healthcare and all other forms of big government, and some that are not so subtle. Recent years have seen a surge in the latter variety. Shouting down conservative speakers on college campuses to silence their views has been ongoing, but now the practice has graduated to violent attacks on speakers and audiences. There is no record of comparable suppression of speech by conservatives. And why is it only the left that abides no dissent from its preferred orthodoxy? The adherents expose through their own behavior that they fear a fair debate of ideas, so they attempt to quell intellectual challenge through brute force—just as all autocrats do.
America’s so-called liberal Democrats resort to the most aggressive tactics out of the Saul Alinsky manual, i.e., destroy any threat to the radical agenda. Truth is beside the point to them. To substantiate via illustration of such Stalinist “politics of personal destruction,” here are a few examples:
(1) Mitt Romney, as 2012 presidential candidate, was Mr. Nice Guy until Democrats got ahold of him. Then the public found out that he had abused his dog, caused an employee to die of cancer, and sadistically imprisoned women in a torture device known as a binder! All this derived from the Obama campaign’s suitably-named “kill Romney” strategy. Of course, candidate Obama’s own personal history was deemed off-limits. Hypocrisy is a familiar trait of leftist totalitarians.
(2) Poor George W. Bush. Investigations by three different governmental commissions concluded that he did not lie about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. If anything, he received the same information worldwide intelligence agencies did about Saddam’s WMD arsenal. Yet “Bush lied” was burned into the national consciousness through liberal Democrat propaganda, paving the way for election of a true leftist president.
(3) Barack Obama advanced the practice of despotic repression by weaponizing every office of his government for domestic political use. The IRS campaign of terror against conservative groups was only one of the most obnoxious. Richard Nixon received an article of impeachment for much less. read more

The socialists (whether National, Italian, Fascist, Soviet, Maoist, Cambodian, Albanian, Yugoslavian, Georgian, Bulgarian, Spanish, Portuguese, Democratic, Christian, Bolshevik, Menshevik, International, Chicago, New York, California, Venezuelan, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, … whatever) have posited from their foundation, that society can only be perfected within the socialist framework, by the total exclusion of contrary ideologies or beliefs; that only through the total control of the means and distribution of ALL production (over the whole Earth), can their “utopia” come to fruition.
This fact, this totalitarian aspect of socialism, is accepted as fundamental, foundational, integral and any compromise with any (and all) other ideologies (and “heretical” branches of socialism) is only a temporary respite to provide a breathing space for the next onslaught against freedom of thought, speech, religion, movement, desire, and result.
They downplay it, of course, as well as they downplay the basic evil of their proposed system, but the facts are available for those who have eyes to see, those who have ears to hear, and those who are interested enough to turn off the TV and do a little research.
The entirety of World War II was, essentially, competing systems of socialism vying for World dominance. The Soviet model murdered more than the Nationalist model, but had enough sense to hide that fact from the World. The later Chinese model surpassed them both in sheer inhuman brutality. Any variation which comes to absolute power in the United States (as Obola and Clinton tried to do) will be far more devastating than the Chinese, if History is any measure.
What’s amazing (and mind-wobbling) is that socialists get any hearing, AT ALL!

People have been “taught” to
fear police – they are all evil bullies
fear government agencies (IRS) – you will pay
fear neighbors and friends – ostricization because of political correctness
even fear of and for children as leftists indoctrinate their rights instead of parents’ rights over discipline and health issues.
And it worked to some extent for a long time until a presidential candidate emerged who was not afraid, and they were unable (and are still powerless) to intimidate him.
We are currently going through an important part of evolution where people will either adhere to truth or go berserk. Detecting the truth and living accordingly is difficult today but doing so makes a person much smarter. A book needs to be written about how people lie and their motives for lying (I would use the title THE ANATOMY OF LIES.) The left along with islam will eventually run out of new ways to lie and alinsky tactics will unravel.
When I debate socialists I always say that I am not against socialism, that under a system that values FREEDOM they have a right to be socialist. However, under a socialist system I don’t have a right NOT to be coerced by the government in many ways. Also, when they participate in voluntary socialism it is much more efficient because the government doesn’t take their HUGE share to administer the redistribution of wealth. Any objection to this is either because they are a fascist enemy of freedom or they are too lazy to do it themselves. Either way they are exposed.

Thorough personal delousing, mental reconditioning and cleaning of transportation with thorough supply inspection is required for reentry into FUSA-held territories.
