No mic. Just singing the anthem. She gets a little riffy at the end, but that’s okay, she sang it with her hand on her heart, and the audience is standing silently. No knee takers.
Her friend gets a little enthusiastic at the end, but we won’t deduct points for that.
Beautiful! I thought she did a great job. I’m especially touched because she covered her heart as she sang. She didn’t need to do that, but she did. God bless her.
She’s amazing! That was uplifting. Thank you for posting.
And don’t forget to mention she is black, that’s worth several extra points
My favorite song well rendered. Some pipes on that one!
“Speaking the truth in times of universal deceit is a revolutionary act.” Geo. Orwell
How bout’ we mention she is an American. God bless her.
Beautiful voice. It’s nice to wake up to something beautiful these days. God Bless her.
Where and when?
Wonderful!
Union High School, Union, South Carolina. I was raised there, I don’t live there any longer but my friends tell me the hole community is very proud of this young lady.
I’m proud of her too !
Bless her Heart!
Goose bumps.
Nice pipes but next time dress properly for the job.
