If the Redskins Are Forced To Change Name I Have a Suggestion

Called them the Washington Whitesboros.

UPI

Local residents voted in support of retaining a village seal that seems to depict a white man choking a Native American.

Of the 212 votes cast, 157, or 74 percent, were in favor of keeping the current seal, which dates back to 1883. Officially, the seal depicts a friendly wrestling match between the town’s founder, Hugh White, and a member of the local Oneida tribe, but it has been sparking racial controversy for decades.

That town certainly won’t be pushed around by PC prigs.

  1. And since it appears that they voted to support nativeamericanphobia, I’m sure the village fathers will do the right thing. [sarcasm intended]

BTW, that’s a helluva choke hold there, Mr. White.

  2. “… white man choking a Native American.”

Mr. White may have been a native American just like the Oneida tribesman.

And if memory serves, wrestling was a sport common among the Indians.

(course I may have learned that from old TV westerns)

  3. How about the Washington Firmly Entrenched Employed For Life With No Accountability For Wrongdoing Or Incompetence Overly Entitled Bureaucrats.

Their team mascot could be a lady wearing a giant Lois Lerner head, wearing a rubber glove on one hand and carrying a briefcase stuffed with cash and busted hard drives.

  4. There better be more than White people in Whitesboro. Otherwise they can expect a visit from Rev Al, Jesse and who ever less is on the race hustle.

I wonder when the Justice Department will investigate Whiteboro to make sure they have the necessary number of low income housing units needed to ensure an arbitrary level of “fairness” and “equality” upon that community?
