iOTW Profile – IOTW Report

iOTW Profile

In our latest survey, we can determine with some certainty a few characteristics shared by a majority of our fellow readers.

It’s a good bet that a random reader-

-Regrets having voted for Romney and/or McCain

-Had coffee, and/or some form of toasted oats for breakfast

-Eats meat for dinner

-Eats in a booth, facing the door, when dining out

-Has a fear of spiders, snakes or heights

-Was greatly impacted by the death of Rush Limbaugh

  1. I miss Rush every day too.
I put Norm down as my celebrity impact because it was a complete surprise. There was no news/clue/hint that Norm was sick. Outa the blue he was just gone.

  2. After collecting so much rich data in the readers survey, it should be expected standardized statistics would be revealed.
Interesting to know how much IOTWr readers have in common.

  3. Damn, I’m not random enough for this crowd.
Don’t eat meat for supper every night, but I’d like to.
Don’t fit with any of the other ‘traits’.
    I feel triggered.

  4. I liked Rush well enough, but his death didn’t impact my life other than I no longer listen to his reruns or the guy who took his place. I have no idea who took his place, there’s only one Rush. No one on radio I care to listen to, and I don’t own a TV, so, my life is rather mundane and easy. I also have a very low tolerance for bullshit.

  5. Belated confession:

    I miss “El Rosbo”!
    Left him off my list.

I blame old age; refuse to admit anything else!

A True America lover! i started listening almost 40 years ago; he was on a station in MidCal; but I got it somehow.

The only man wit the guts to call out Hugh Hewitt for backing 2 far left “Bush Republicans” for president in ’08 and in ’12!

Belatedly, many years after the fact, HH admitted that he only supported them because they ,like Bushes, hated President Ronny!

It was obvious to anyone that “took out their wallet and paid attention” that these 2 “Bush Republicans” would be bad for America! But only he had to guits to sayh it on the air. I said it “onthe net” and to friends many times; but p;robably 50,000,000 more got the word from he than me.

  6. Had a T-bone steak with baby bella mushrooms on Saturday. After watching a few cooking shows, I know how to cook them just right!

If I cooked like Mom, all my steaks would turn out like shoe leather! 😬

  7. The question was, A celebrity death that impacted you more than you thought it would? I didn’t say Rush because I knew his death would be devastating to conservatives all over.

  8. Being late to this enterprise, I finally read through the survey bio’s and was particularly impressed with the Bikin Model’s entry. Of course, I have to admit that I paid particularly close attention to any name that I knew self-identified as female. 🙂

  9. you people don’t eat breakfast??? wtf?

fwiw, my first ‘romantic’ kiss – 11, from an ‘older’ woman (she was 12 … amazing what they would do for a couple of Beatle concert ticket stubs)
um … Booth (don’t care if it’s facing the door), then – Lik-Em-Aid & Chocolate Babies, now – a bite-sized mini Snickers now & then, uh, turn up – AC/DC, Nugent, Skynyrd, Zeppelin, Beethoven, turn off – cRAP, disco, springsteen, elton john, journey, queen, late ’70’s & ’80’s pretentious crap (which was most of it), most modern same-4-chord shit,
lessee … breakfast – sausage, egg, cheese on a half of a croissant, fave dinner – charcoaled steak & steamed buttered lobster w/ a loaded baked potato & fresh steamed broccoli & an Italian Pino Grigio & a 12-year-old Single Malt aperitif … what else?

oh yeah, the celebrity death that has had the greatest impact on all our lives is Jesus Christ, for Christ’s sake!
