So the New York Times published an op-ed seriously arguing that speech you don't like can be an act of "violence." pic.twitter.com/GoK8M1nUV0

The thesis is a common one: Oh, OFFENSIVE speech shouldn’t be banned, but it should when it becomes ABUSIVE. That’s “violent.”

Hey NYT: Go FYAD.
(Is that offensive or abusive? And who gets to say?)
goose-gander, you don’t always get to be the pig. animal farm
Dead neurons explain why the perpetually offended sound so incredibly stupid. Their little minds do seem to shrivel when I mock them.
If ONLY it were that easy….
Yet the author isn’t concerned about people speaking about *actual* violence. Madonna – blowing up the WH, Johny Depp’s ‘joke’ about killing Trump, DeNiro’s punch Trump statements. You know, actual threats of violence that do inspire their loony tunes base to say pick up a gun and try to shoot a baseball field of Republicans.
Oh dear, chronic stress can cause physical illness. Who KNEW?
Stress like being in a war zone? no.
Like being in prison? nah.
Like waiting for the jaws of life to get you out of a fatal car crash? probably not.
Like someone sayin’ Trump M-A-G-A? YES! Ouch – white male privilege – need coloring book and puppy
They’re Stressing themselves to Death, and They don’t know why. The Media Signals them to Worry Every Day, so they worry about Trump…and they don’t really get to know Trump or the Good He’s done !
The ,establishment left, as spearheaded by its high profile megaphone, the NY Times, is trying to set up a “scientific” basis and argument to ban speech that the dominant progressive political hive doesn’t like.
They are prefacing their own violent acts by making the argument that since speech can equal violence, preemptive violence is self defense.
Then they have a moral excuse to commit violence on those they disagree with.
And what Birdie Num Num said.
Mr. Pinko, I am a big fan. Are you handsome?
Ooops, wrong thread… I’m a big fan of Mr. Fur Hat too, are you handsome?
Both Pinko and Fur were Calvin Klein underwear models. That’s how they met. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
