While the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) makes conservative groups wait years for tax-exempt status an “After School Satan Club” launched to hinder Christian-based counterparts got its nonprofit ranking in just ten days, records obtained by Judicial Watch show. The classification is offered to charitable, religious and educational organizations that operate as nonprofits.
Under the Obama administration IRS political appointees illegally targeted conservative groups, either making them wait up to seven years for tax-exempt status or denying their application altogether. Judicial Watch uncovered that scandal and has obtained piles of government records showing how the IRS illegally colluded with another federal agency to single out groups with conservative-sounding terms such as patriot and Tea Party in their titles when applying for tax-exempt status.
Fire John Koskinen. Why hasn’t it been done yet?
Gee. What could go wrong?
It’s just that the picture of satan looks so much like Lois Lerner. Like maybe a tribute to her and her efforts.
Church Lady hardest hit
Is this a new trend or something? I’m seeing a lot of reports about this stuff around the news. Finding it very disturbing.
I’ll bet recruiting was a breeze when they asked students if they wanted to join the ASS Club.
It can’t happen soon enough! When you give the Internal Revenue Service (I wrote the name in full, hoping that you’d remember what the words mean) the job of deciding what religions are religious enough for the purpose of generating government profits, you’ve given the job of deciding what religions are religious enough for the purpose of generating government profits to the people whose job is generating government profits. A long explanation for people who refuse to accept that if 2 equals 2, then 2 equals 2.
Gov’t doesn’t “profit” … gov’t “confiscates.”

Professional Courtesy?
They make it sound so fun.
I guess that proves that the IRS is a spawn of the “Devil”!

I quibble with the terminology. But only because they don’t keep what they take in a giant treasury – the architectural, rather than bureaucratic, style. They “confiscate” – I prefer “rob”, but I can accept hiding behind “confiscate” – your stuff, and a lot of what they tell you to call your stuff that they only rent to you. They then share it amongst themselves. I’d call that “profit”.
Agree to not disagree?
It didnt end well for the prophets of Bael and Madalyn Murray O’Hair. The opponents of the True and Living God never learn. The IRS is a bloated goverment agency filled with agents of satan, no wonder satanic school clubs get exemptions.
Kilroy,
“Profit” gives them a cachet of respectability, as though money were “earned,” whereas “confiscates” displays the forced nature of the transaction.
At least, to me.
But yes, by all means, we must agree to disagree. Er, to not disagree?
Whatever! Vive la difference!
