Dan Bongino: Trump-Russia conspiracy theorist and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) claims “time is running out” for former Special Counsel Robert Mueller to testify before Congress voluntarily.
During an appearance on CNN this morning, Schiff was asked how long he was willing to wait for Mueller to testify publicly.
“I think time is running out,” Schiff told replied. “The best way to get a witness to testify is if you can get them to testify voluntarily, and particularly I think with someone like Bob Mueller making an appeal to his patriotism, a sense of duty is the right way to go. But at the end of the day, he needs to come testify.”
When asked if August was “too late,” Schiff replied, “Yes, I think it is. I think we’re reaching a point where if we can’t reach an agreement, and I hope we will, then we’ll have to use a subpoena.” MORE

From Mueller’s public appearances, it is clear this man does not want to testify. Let Pencil Neck subpoena him so Mueller can tell him no and then let Pencil Neck hold him in contempt.
Mueller knows a subpoena and contempt against him means nothing. He will yawn at them.

Someone should remind Schiffforbrains that if Mueller were to testify, he would be under oath and that the Republicans could also ask questions.
Schiffty is just playing a game. He’s trying to give the illusion he is serious about Mueller testifying, but its all a gag. Like RadioMattM said, they don’t dare put him on the stand lest non-RINO Republicans skewer him like they did to John Dean.
Though the Democrats running this circus are complete imbeciles, so they might really be thinking this is the play they need to sink Trump. Much like that old show Wacky Racers where Dick Dastardly could be inches from the finish line and winning. Instead he resorts to self trickery to defeat the others and ends up losing instead.

It would be refreshing to see Mueller subpoena’d by the DoJ and watch his rank ass being grilled with cameras rolling but I’ve learned to temper my hopes.
