Is Ted at Odds With Heidi, Or Are They of One Mind? – IOTW Report

Is Ted at Odds With Heidi, Or Are They of One Mind?

I’ve been getting stories like this for about 4 or 5 months now. In fact, there’s one tipster who sends 14 or 15 stories a week on why Ted Cruz is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and he’s part of the effort to create a North American Union. I never posted any of it.

Since one of the fears of Trump is that he won’t follow through on what he’s campaigning on, this video is, I guess, equal time.

  1. BFH. Even though you mentioned that you support Cruz, but would vote for Trump in a general election, you have been pretty darned fair to Cruz and Trump. IOTW was a little more balanced when Mr. Pinko was here. Thank you – sincerely.

Saying that, I can’t comment on the video because someone will whine painfully if I say something they don’t like and I can’t stand whining – that’s reserved for libs.

The only thing I can say about the video is that I’ve watched this unfold for decades.

  2. The framers knew that government had to be kept close to the people if there was to be any hope of controlling it.

Stripping the states of the rights they were guaranteed in the original Constitution by the amendments in the half century after the war between the states had made it impossible to control the federal government.

Now think by logical extension about what chance the people have to control a hemispherical or world government.

And remember the names of those who’ve tried to “unite” continents and the known world before. Each time it was tried millions were enslaved or killed.

I don’t know if Cruz agrees with this agenda, he’s always seemed to be a genuine proponent of Constitutional law, but this video should give everyone who watches it pause.

  3. I’m concerned about everyone in politics. In fact I’m concerned about the whole damn country. The population in general is too lazy, ignorant, and uninformed to make the disciplined decisions needed to elect responsible leaders that have the best interest of the nation in mind. One election might help but we have a generation or two of work before we are back on track. With so many parasites voting for free stuff it might not happen.

  4. I have a friend who warns of the NWO (New World Order), along with chem-trails, GMO foods, Freemasons, the Bilderberg Group… I forget all of the conspiracies. They could all be correct, for all I know, and I could be the proverbial frog in a heating pot of water. We certainly can’t trust the media to warn us of our impending doom. But to believe all of this stuff, you have to throw in with Alex Jones at Infowars, which always gives me pause.

  5. Was that sponsored by the DNC? No mention of Kennedy, Carter, Clinton or Obama. Obviously they were against this movement, therefore we should vote Democrat. Yeah, that works.

  6. Well GGW,
I’ve never read nor heard of a time when there was a shortage of men with power willing to do anything to gather more power.

Throughout recorded history, and probably even before, there has been an uninterrupted chain of “conspiracies” to conquer the world. The last one came so close the world’s been trying to catch it’s collective breath for the last seventy years.

Of course, “it couldn’t happen here”. Nor could it “happen again”.

  7. I watched this video before. NAFTA was a step in a long process.

That fact that not one administration in 30 years has made an attempt to stop the Mexico invasion makes me think that they all agree with a NA Union, and have agreed to unlimited immigration without asking the American people or putting forth legislation.

And they wonder why people support Trump and despise the Establishment.

  8. I believe, (If you’ll read Daniel 7), we’re seeing the beginning formation of the 10 toes of Daniel, or, superstates. On the timeline of history going back to Babylon, the 10 toes WILL be man’s final rulership, ruled ultimately by the antichrist.
His “solutions” will always lead toward more disaster.

Already long foreseen, and to believers, know how it ends.

  9. Arm up, people. Crisis will be created to allow more power to the bastards and less rights to the peons.

We are like little children being led to Disneyland, and can’t see the mechanisms of avarice and power, behind the rides.

When thinking of the video, none of the candidates is trustworthy. The huge crowds Trump gathers, remind me of historical populace leaders, who lead their followers to the Kool-aid or other disillusionment. Maybe it is the adage, if it sounds too good to be true, it might be. But clearly, Trump is no worse nor better than the political elite who yank the chains of tyrannical behavior. They are in overtime panic trying to save their political Titantic from sinking.

We KNOW the promises they have broken, the lies they have told, and their greed led unethical actions. THAT, is the reason Trump has gathered so much popularity. He offers a small chance that he will be different. He is the American people’s piece of flotsam on which we hang our hope.

  10. One of the biggest fears of the men of the Founding was that the new America would revert to an aristocracy not in the most obvious way — through bloodline — but by the seizure of power by an aristocratic few. It is folly to consign evidence to the round file. There it is, as law, that points in only one direction. Our understanding of events is obscured, sometimes, by ridiculous conspiracies that attach themselves to the real thing. Or by unattractive messengers who are too easy to discredit. The biggest enemy we face in all of this is our own inattention or worse, a haughty reliance on what we think are our infallible senses telling us that it really can’t be as bad as all that.

  11. I for one cannot be persuaded that “the smartest guy in the room” set up and voted for TPA/TPP because he didn’t understand the ramifications of he championed or voted on.

  12. re: Tinfoil Hats and Conspiracy Theories

When we see the implementation of such and the historical evidence of such, they are no longer conspiracy theories.

Our rulers hang the words Conspiracy Theory on concepts to discredit thought and conversation, just as they hang the word Racism on logical thought and conversation. Both were designed to shut us up and shut down our minds.

  13. Trade agreements are usually in our best interests.
I know the Bernie Sanders/Trump people are upset that China was excluded, but that exclusion was crucial as a main purpose of TPP was to act as a counterbalance against China.
You all should read these proposals rather than just listening to people who the Chinese have in their pocket.

  14. PlainJane: I read it. The actual item, not hash someone else had made of it, back when it was a relevant issue.
It would have demolished China’s stranglehold on many of the economies in the region.
As a result, the left went batshit over it, as they always do when the money flows paying them to do so.
On top of that, what was voted on was just a draft of the agreement. Go back and look at exactly what Cruz was voting on.
he was not voting on sending the agreement to Soetoro’s desk.

  15. At the risk of being too negative in the eyes of Conservatives and too positive to Liberals, you can’t trust ANYONE running for office on the GOP side. Heidi Cruz should have resigned from G-S. By taking an unpaid LOA, you can be sure there are ties that bind and a future that bodes ill for America whoever wins in November (D or R).

  16. FDR; What about Trump’s wife?
She works for a multi billion dollar corporation involved in finance and works with G-S also.
    What about Trump himself?
He owns part of G-S and has done millions in business with them.
Shouldn’t he have bailed on his company when he started the campaign.
Requiring that a person’s wife quit her career if her husband runs for president is a bit quaint and patronizing, don’t you think?
Maybe we could just make a rule that only people whose entire family is unemployed, preferably for generations, can run for president.
That would leave us with only Hillary, as Bernie has close relatives with real jobs.

  17. In my opinion, what’s looming on the fiscal horizon will dwarf this issue in the coming years, causing us to question whether any form of government can be trusted now. Our monetary system – and our government – is a fraud. There is no rule of law. In less than a generation, if that fact doesn’t change, it won’t matter what “form” we take.

  18. @JohnS ~ you want to know the difference between Trump’s dealings with G-S & Cruz’s? Simple – Cruz is a politician that got a deal from his wife’s company to bankroll his campaign. Trump is a businessman that has multiple dealings w/ G-S…. dealings with them & against them…..BIG difference

one smells bad, the other is just business

  19. This theory has been around since his senate run. The big establishment money of his competitor Dewhurst was sending this theory out.
The video provides no evidence of Heidi being in favor of NA Union but merely implies that being a CFR member and on a panel looking at options of free trade in NA that she is a globalist and in turn Ted is a globalist.

Many CFR members in certain commissions are there offering countering views. John Bolton is a CFR membe but I highly respect much of his policies and is certainly pro America.

Does this video offer any evidence of her contributions? no
In fact the only excerpt I found was a comment in the report saying the private sector and not the govts should be the ones facilitating the goals of commission.

I can find this quote from that report but it’s late now. The video is just full of implications with 0 evidence.

As for as Goldman Sachs, she manages private investment accounts of individuals and families of high net worth. I didn’t know managing individual accounts makes.you a globalist. Again it is implications only. It implies being an employ of a big bank makes you a globalist and you are controlled by them.

You have to research.these things before saying they are gospel.

  20. Molon
GS didn’t bank roll his campaign. They gave him a low interstate loan against his investment accounts. It’s not like they were bank rolling him.

So getting a loan with your assets being collateral is evil and corrupt?

Do you want to open that can when we have Trumps dealings to look at? He is far far from being above reproach. Lets.be fair
