Surprise? Why not at all. In fact I once saw Howie Mandel Juggling otters that were juggling stones. Its an old vaudville standard.
That dumb otter wouldn’t be so carefree if he had been paying attention to the news.
Never seen them necessarily juggle, but we see them on the Cali Delta all the time and they always have stones. They get Crustacean off the bottom, swim on their backs and crack them open on the rock.
There’s gotta be an Obama joke in there somewhere. Well, at least a Biden joke.
“Thanks, folks! I’ll be here all week – don’t forget to tip your waitress…”
🙂
Face it Fur, there are a lot of things you otter know…
If otters were bigger, the would kill you and eat you.
And juggle with your bones.
True, but he can still get by with a little kelp from his friends.
Good thing we have semi-ottermatic weapons.
😉
This has nothing to do with otters, but it’s pretty darn funny.
From “The Lonely Conservative” lip reading the democrat debate.

Next thing you know they’ll be riding unicycles.
I’m glad BFH didn’t discover something interesting about Beavers. I don’t think I could take it. LOL
It appears this otter has all the moves of an establishment republican.
sea otters catch sea- urchins[ main part of their diet ] lay on their backs in the sea and break them open with a small rock , this behaviour is inherent in all otters even though fresh water otters have never seen a sea-urchin instint means they will go through the motion
Won’t somebody PLEASE think of the Kittens??!

That was one of the cutest videos. I didn’t know otters were so…jugular.
It took me years to teach all those little fellows how to do that. But, I’m a selfless, ever-helpful kind of guy …
Known it since I was a kid and spent summers with grandma and grandpa in northern Wisconsin. Lake cats, they shit all over the dock. They also use rocks to break open tasty snacks.
River otters eat clams, mussels, crayfish, etc. They crack them open with rocks too.
I hear the METS are thinking about signing one to play infield…
Have you already forgotten his post about the airborne beavers? It hasn’t been that long ago:

At least they’re not vein about it.
You may have heard that it’s not necessary to cite a source if the information it provides is “common knowledge.” In theory, this guideline is valid. (See principle #4 in “When to Cite Sources.”) In high school, the guideline is often further simplified: if you can find the information in The World Book Encyclopedia, then it’s “common knowledge.”

I smell cheese…oh, nevermind.
First you gotta find a World Book Encyclopedia. Good luck with that nowadays…
😉
Hell, everybody knows that.
Just bought one on DVD from OhioDistinctive
Oops! Am I allowed to mention them?
I don’t know the rules – but I don’t work for them – or know anyone who does.
yeah, geez, not another juggling otter video…
The bad lipreading video was hilarious BTW
But did you know that playing poker with Kenny Rogers gets old real quick?
That was brutal… (grin)
Not real! The rock is digitally added.
They should get a gay guy for the infield. They”re always better ball handlers.
I didn’t know this, but I’m not surprised.
Otters are very playful by nature. I’ve seen them bat around pine cones like they were soccer balls.
