Self described “brain cartographer,” Neuroscientist George Paxinos has identified a new region of the brain that had yet to be identified. Named the “endorestiform nucleus,” this area was identified by using modern imaging techniques on live subjects. Then I would imagine that guys at Rolls-Royce who designed and built the Merlin and Griffon 12-cylinder aircraft powerplants had exceptionally robust endorestiform nuclei.
