Kushner says that Kelly had just marched out of a tense meeting in the Oval Office. Ivanka was passing him on the West Wing’s main hallway. She said “Hello, chief” unaware of his agitated state of mind. Then Kelly slammed into her and shoved her out of the way.
Kelly went to Ivanka’s room an hour later and apologized, which she accepted. “Meek” was how Kushner described the apology.

He apologized. So why bring it up now? If he felt it was threatening, Jared should have taken care of it like a man at the time and then shut the fu3k up about it. Instead the weenie writes about it in his “memoir”.
