Rowling finally deleted her tweets and apologized to the boy and his family for spreading false claims, but did not apologize to President Trump. A spokesperson for Rowling apparently refused to confirm to CNN’s Oliver Darcy whether or not the author would apologize to Trump.

She’s not going to apologize to Trump. Even if she eventually does, in her eyes “Mission Accomplished”. The slander has been done, low info mofos still running around saying Trump ignored a disabled little boy so he’s a monster. Just like the press and their down played retractions days after the lie has been told.

I gather she plagerized (some would say stole) the Harry Potter premise (and some actual characters) from another author, was sued and settled out of court with the plaintiff. Amazing how much self-righteous indignation some of the left can generate over what they know are lies and refuse to admit the facts. In any event her agent/manager/publicist probably told her to at least make a half assed apology to the family or her book/movie sales might be hurt.
