Justice Department Uses “Deep Fakes” As Excuse for Not Releasing Hur Interviews

Washington Examiner

The Department of Justice is withholding President Joe Biden’s interview audio with former special counsel Robert Hur due to fears that it will be altered by artificial intelligence, according to a court filing.

CNN, the Heritage Foundation, and Judicial Watch, among others, have all been denied Freedom of Information Act requests for the audio and have subsequently filed suit against the Justice Department. 1. The Department of Justice could copyright the recordings, post them, then “go after” anyone who violates the copyright. Deep fakes are NOT necessary to make “the” point.

  2. It isn’t a valid reason, not even close.
However, Bidenministration will do whatever it wants, whenever it wants, in spite of any legal rulings. And of course the AG will do whatever it wants him to do.
And you think it will step down after losing in November???
