Kaepernick Will Not Be Such a D!@% About The National Anthem, In The Future

Assuming he’ll ever be allowed on the sidelines of a professional football team ever again, quarterback Colin Kaepernick has declared his intention to stand when the national anthem is  played.  Kaepernick is expected to opt out of his contract with the 49ers and go to another team.  The Sporting News speculates that the Seattle Seahawks would be a good fit.

  1. The big question: Since he elected to enter free agency, what team will pick up his free agent contract?

Forest Gump: Stupid is as stupid does

And that goes for any team that picks up his free agent contract. NFL ratings???

  2. Special K has disrespected all those who served this country who made it possible for him to be an oppressed, pampered, Millionaire social justice prick.
He betrayed his Country, Christianity, his team, fans and common decency.
Be gone Special K, you are no longer admired or special.

  3. From sporting news

“Here’s the twist: Kaepernick, foiled often by the Seahawks’ defense, has gained more respect from players on that unit. There was some Seattle solidarity with him during his national anthem protests, led by Jeremy Lane. Richard Sherman understood of what Kaepernick was trying to do. Michael Bennett gave his full support.

Kaepernick reportedly won’t be protesting like that next season, but many potential future coaches and teammates still will feel they can’t stand by what he already has done. Kaepernick doesn’t need to worry about that with the Seahawks.”

Ah, the seahawks, the hand-holding team. Screw them too.

    Half-wits:
Seahawks lock arms, express racial unity during national anthem

  4. Isn’t Keapernick a Russian, or maybe Volga German.

I mean it makes sense, his disrespecting the national anthem and I bet he’s been playing badly just to throw games a the orders of his Russian handlers.

This theory makes as much sense as the Democrat’s witch hunt.

  5. Yeah, the New York Daily News is whining about Kaepernick selling out, but my guess is that the paper isn’t willing to replace any part of Kaepernick’s salary either. It’s easy to be a standup progressive when someone else pays the tab.

But Kaepernick has more problems that being an unAmerican distraction – he doesn’t have the talent to be a starting quarterback in the NFL. Supposedly Seattle is interested, although they have a fairly young and very good quarterback in Russell Wilson. Engrave your name on that bench, Colin – you can mark your space for your protest and during the game.

  6. He’s made himself a total PR disaster.

    Beyond salvage.
    Beyond any possibility of apology.

The fans he deliberately insulted will never forgive him. And they have no reason to.

He will sputter, then disappear. Some sharks (girlfriends, baby mamas & their lawyers) will strip off his NFL money just like whatsername and her lawyers stripped Mike Tyson.
2 years after being dropped from the NFL he will get shot over stolen drugs in some ghetto parking lot at 3 AM.

  7. How big of an Asshole is Kapernick?
Even the Browns turned him down!
Nobody wants a petulant problem child who can’t win games!
    Enjoy yer retirement Asswipe!

  8. A good fit?
That would be when the NFL opens an expansion team in Mexico City. Colon K. won’t have to worry about standing for the US anthem when he’s dodging the zip-lock bags of urine the Meheecans throw at gringo athletes

  9. For those that say no team will take him remember that Michael Vick played for the Eagles, Jets and the Steelers after getting out of prison for some pretty awful crimes. How many plaers has the NFL allowed back into the game after getting hit with Assault, Domestic Violence, Narcotics Possession, Weapons violations and the list just goes on. The only reason a team wouldn’t grab take Kaepernick (at a bargain basement price) is if Roger Goodell figures it would hit ratings negatively.
