Cuccinelli, the former acting director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, was named the acting deputy secretary of the Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday, according to a staff email obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. He was great for Virginia. Dems couldn’t wait to get him out or politics in Virginia.
Cuccinelli is a rock star. I lobbied him hard to move from Fairfax to Hanover. Fortunately he didn’t listen to me. That would have been max inconvenient for him.
I enjoyed working in the trenches with this unassuming guy. Also enjoyed playing paintball with him at one of fundraisers.
