Firefighters said when the entered the home to rescue Viviana, they found Poremski’s dog, Polo, in the room with her and he was covering her with his body.
“She only had burns on her side because of it,” Poremski said. “He stayed with her the whole time in the bedroom and wouldn’t even come downstairs to get out the door.”

Aw, good doggie. RIP Polo.
My parents had a dog just like that one. His name was blackie. They lived out in the boonies and no one ever knocked on there door until one day someone did. My mother answered the door and there was a black man there trying to sell cleaning products. I’m talking way out in no where’s land. Well, her dog blackie took off after the guy nd the guy tried to climb up a tree trying to get away from the dog. My mother stood there calling “here blackie, here blackie!” He yelled “call your dog off, he almost took some dark meat off of me!” We tell that story whenever we get together and laugh our asses off. Anywho, they are good dogs and loyal.
If that would’ve been obama’s dog, it would have high tailed it out of the house to save itself.
