The original phrase is close to “If you plot to kill the King, kill the King.”, meaning that punishment will be protracted, very painful, and public.

If the left/deep state was able to kill President Trump it just might start a new civil war. I lived thru JFK’s assassination when I was 10 and MLK’s and Bobby Kennedy’s assassinations in 1968. This country hasn’t been this divided since the late 60’s and early 60’s and early 70’s during the latter stages of the Vietnam War and all the protests and Watergate and the fall of Vietnam to the commies in the spring of 1975. I don’t want to live thru another period like that ever again which is why I pray for divine/supernatural protection for President Trump every day.
