Nashville Police Chief John Drake characterized the shooting as a “targeted attack” and said authorities discovered “a manifesto” and detailed maps of the school showing points of entry. Drake also confirmed “there is some theory” to the idea that Hale’s transgender identity contributed to her decision to target the school but that authorities are still investigating the motive. Police said Hale was considering “another location” to target, but after “a threat assessment by the suspect [and] too much security, [she] decided not to.”

I am now in favor of the following gun control legislation. (1) if you are a leftist, you are not allowed to possess any gun. (2) you can be a cross-dresser all you want, but if you believe that by dressing in drag or cutting off your dong you are a woman, you get no gun. (3) If you believe there are more than two genders, no gun for you. (4) if you are a Karen, ixnay on possessing a gun. (5) if you are a talking head on MSNBC, CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, etc., nada on having a gun.

The entry and room clearing looks a bit ham-fisted and chaotic but these guys are first responders, not the SWAT team. They went in anyway and brought superior firepower in a timely manner and neutralized the shooter. Good job, fellas.
