The rotary converters worked around the clock seven days a week, but they could be stopped by simply pouring a bag of sand into them. Hitler sent four saboteurs to destroy the converters, but they were caught in time.
Next time, the saboteurs won’t have German names…more likely Achmed, Mohammed, Abdul and Barack.
