McCabe Confident He Won’t Be Prosecuted

In a statement challenging the Department of Justice to come after his client, former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s lawyer declared yesterday, “We have already met with staff members from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. We are confident that, unless there is inappropriate pressure from high levels of the Administration, the U.S. Attorney’s Office will conclude that it should decline to prosecute.” More

  1. McCabe is the canary in the coalmine. If he doesn’t get prosecuted, nobody will. The fix is being lubed, but it’s not quite in yet.

  2. “… unless there is inappropriate pressure from high levels of the Administration, the U.S. Attorney’s Office will conclude that it should decline …”

“unless,” “inappropriate,” “should” all weasel words without any basis in fact.

“Unless” he can PROVE “inappropriate” pressure he “should” shut the fuck up.

This is called “preemption” for the uninitiated out there – he obviously expects an indictment (to which McCabe has no defense) so he’s muddying the waters so that he can yell “SEE?! I told ya so!” after McCabe gets sentenced to jail.

Used to be Middle-School playground shit, but we see it’s now become quite sophisticated.

  3. His attorneys are just trying to set the stage for a claim that this is a political vendetta. They will play this card all the way to the trial, the sentencing, the endless appeals, and the request for a pardon.

  4. Either the IG’s referral is followed up with charges from the Justice Department or we live in a nation with a two class legal system.

  5. Tim, the ultimate weasel words were “lacked candor”. He straight up lied. It sounds like they’re trying to set up a legal distinction between the two. Wasn’t McCabe the one who came up with “extremely careless” to replace the criminal “grossly negligent” for Hillary?

  6. The ONLY way this swamp gets fixed is if the rumors about Military Tribunals is true. Let’s hope it is.

  7. Hey Andrew, curb your enthusiasm. I didnt see anybody in the Senate writing a law to keep Trump from firing your ass. We will see who wants to stick their neck out for you in the courtroom.

  8. This is bunk.

You see what they’re doing here?

They’re setting it up that if he gets prosecuted, it will be blamed entirely on Trump.

    It’s all about the narrative.

  9. I would like to see who set up the “Go Fund Me” account for this criminal, and if there are any large contributors, or class of contributors.

These people don’t know when to shut up.

    They are stupid.

  10. Mortgages for the Masses, he must be in some deep pockets; I see that this douche is planning to sue the Trump admin for defamation and wrongful termination and some other butthurt stuff to be determined. Eff this sad clown if that’s not phaque nieus.

  11. Maybe we should skip the prosecution and move into the sentencing right away. So, Mr. McCabe, would you like a blindfold or a last cigarette?

  12. He’s just starting to try this case in the court of public opinion…..and after AndyBoy is arraigned on his indictment, he’ll step up to the microphone and utter the immortal, “My client is totally innocent and we look forward to having our day in court.”

    Kabuki theater at its finest.

  13. I finally self-admitted. Charlie Brown has never kicked a Lucy held football, and he never will.

If you want the swamp drained, and multiple swamp creatures jailed the Lucies in control of the process will need replacing. Trump can’t do it alone. Sessions seems to be ” the Dud” instead of “the Dude”. There are so many Lucies intermixed with the other ball holders it will be a struggle to ever see the ball arc through the air. Lucy’s record may stand. Hoping it doesn’t, but Charlie has never kicked the ball.

  14. Of course he won’t be prosecuted. The rats stick together. We only have the illusion of a justice system.

  15. Until the perps meet justice, there is no justice system, just talk. BULLSHIT to be precise.

And the Comeys, and the rest of those sanctimonious pukes should FEAR meeting their Maker. Whenever that day comes.

In the meantime, the nation should be VERY ASHAMED.

  16. I’d pay to see Andy in General Population at a State Prison. First day, Andy would get his teeth beaten out of his face…after that it’s all down hill for him.

  17. A third possibility: He will be given immunity and testify against the whole lot of them: Comey, Hillary, Obama. Of course, if that happened, he will have to be put in the witness protection program.

  18. We live in a two-tiered system. Prosecute him and we go back to a one tiered system.

He’s going to blame Trump regardless.

These people are faggots. Take their money away and they’ll start rolling on each other. But you have to prosecute them and put their pensions in jeopardy.

  19. The funny part is that if he’d run afoul of the Clinton Cartel he’d just wind up dead. Some weird suicide or unsolvable murder.

Shoot himself in the back with a shotgun while his hands were tied and he was struggling with the rope with which he hanged himself – or some such nonsense.
