Meta plan: Send us your nude images that you DON’T want online

WND: Revenge porn is a serious issue online, and few would dispute there needs to be serious repercussions for offenders.

Shucks, there are large populations in America that think any porn online is a serious cancer and there needs to be appropriation penalties.

But now there’s a new strategy by Meta, formerly Facebook, according to a posting on Friday on DIYPhotography.

The company says you should send your porn images to it, if you don’t want them online. more here

  1. Seriously,though, setting aside how stupid this would be for you to send naked sefies to strangers on the Internet, just as a CONCEPT how can this work? Can it detect images that match if they are resized? Flipped? Cropped? Inverted? Retouched (photoshopped)? Part of a collage.

    …there’s a LOT of things you can do to affect the visual presentation of an image and still have it be a recognizable person, and machine vision is NOT intuitive so I don’t see this being effective even in the VERY unlikely event that the Facebook employee is one of the three that ISN’T a pervert and actually tries to do what they SAY, which itself if more than they generally do…

  2. The sly META, viz, DEATH, is their sly undertaking of urging underage children to send (f)uckerberg and admins photos. His own kid doesn’t stand a chance with parents like he and his wife lurking around.
