Michigan recount over; federal judge says there’s no legal precedent for having one

$3 million wasted in the meantime.

-CAIN: I suppose this is what a Jill Stein presidency would have been like, except that it would have been hundreds of billions wasted on pointless exercises instead of a mere $3 million. We Michigan taxpayers should be grateful, I guess, that we only got a taste of such absurdity – however bitter the taste may have been.

After several days in which state courts tussled with federal courts over whether the recount should go on, U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith finally came down on the side of the state and ruled that the recount needs to stop – because there was never any legitimate legal cause for it in the first place.

  1. OBOZO is climbing on the Russia Did It, HACK TRAIN. just ordered a full investigation of the election looking for (planted Russian hacks by the CIA and NSA). Wants the report in before he leaves office, if he leaves office. I hope the US Military is standing by to do what is necessary to get this fake out of the White House. Take his male wife too.

  2. Funny… clear proof of voter fraud in Detroit and what do they do? Stop the recount. Not a peep from DC.

Queen Bitch Rodham and her ilk rattle on about spook Russians and what does the Child King do? Order an investigation on Russia.

One rule of the Obummer administration must be “Never make sense.”

  3. Excuse me, but if a FEDERAL judge stopped the recount in MI because Stein had no cause, why isn’t that decision applicable in neighboring WI?

  4. If you uncover corrupt election fraud in Detroit….STOP THE RECOUNT.
No Investigation, No Indictment, No Harm, No Foul….the corruption will continue the next election.
The FBI assures us there was no wrongful intent.
Next time the democrats will make sure they win.

  5. Obama appointed federal judge stopped recount after it discovered 59% of Detroit precincts that all went for Hillary had discrepancies between reported counts and actual ballots.

This is why Hillary didn’t ask for a recount.

  6. After Trump becomes official POTUS, he should ask his AG to look into all those sealed ballot boxes in Detroit to see how deep the fraud goes and how many years the people, who signed off on the bogus box counts, should spend in jail.

  7. Plus Jillie is now appealing all three states to the Supreme Court in each state, and if she fails at that she will make a run at the SCOTUS. This bitch will not stop until someone puts her down.

  8. Hussein Obobo will be saying next that Russian spies broke into the vote storage locations all over Pennsylvania and stole votes for Shrillary. He is dangerously close to being declared mentally incapacitated and unable to finish his second term, to be locked away. We don’t need an incompetent mental midget who was never legally qualified to be president staying another second in office.

  9. I’ve been watching some Russian media lately and I’d have to say they are much better at faking the news than the New York Slimes, the Washington Wipe, ABC, CBS, NBC, National Propaganda Radio or any other of what considers itself major media in the US. In other words their fake news is more believable than ours.

  10. I actually in favor of continuing the recount. Wisconsin is supposedly 88% complete, so that will put Trump over the top because so far, Trump is actually gaining a few votes instead of losing the over 20,000 votes Hillary needed to win. Since Trump’s election is not in doubt, let’s see the voter fraud from the urban areas of Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Hey, we’ve wasted a few million dollars on less useful things.

Ding-ding-ding! Any bets on the real reason the recount was stopped? Heh-heh-heh…

I’m of the opinion that there should be two distinct reasons for recounting votes. The first is the on most assume today: if it’s a close contest, make sure the winner is the one with the most votes.

But the second should be to investigate voting fraud crimes. Regardless of how close the race is, or whether there is an “aggrieved party”, evidence of vote tampering of any kind should be recognized as justification for a recount. A better word, perhaps, would be a vote audit.

In Michigan, the ballot box certified as containing 306 ballots, but containing in reality only 50, should raise the old red flag and trigger a criminal investigation, and that investigation should be statutorily insulated from interference.

    Yah. I’m dreamin’.

This bitch will not stop until someone puts her down.

Bitch that she is, I hope she doesn’t get put down. Her wacko efforts can do no harm to DJT, and are guaranteed to uncover more fraud. I like uncovering fraud.
