Elizabeth Pipko, 23, a model who has appeared in Maxim, revealed in an interview that she has been a Trump supporter since the beginning, but never let on publicly because she feared it would kill her career and alienate industry colleagues.
Pipko told the New York Post that she had volunteered for Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, sometimes working 10 hours a day, yet could not reveal the fact to anyone within her industry, fearing a backlash.
The model said that every modeling job or meeting at that time was a high-stress for her if talk turned to the subject of Trump. At one time a photographer arrived wearing a black T-shirt with a gigantic red slash over Trump’s face. In another instance, while at Miami Swim Week for fashion shows, she was forced to sit in a corner pretending to be on her phone while 15 models openly slammed Trump.
She also remembered meeting a famous male model at Trump Tower who was also volunteering for the Trump campaign, who asked her not to tell anyone that she had seen him there.
I want her to know that I have her back.
And I’ve got her front!
I’ve never been confronted by anyone popping off their mouth about their distaste for Trump. I wish someone would. I don’t see this kind of crap happening, maybe it’s a blue state thing.

I live in the formerly reddest of the red states (until Mr. Mittens moved in) – the only state where Bill Clinton took 3rd place in 1992! Several of my clients are Hollywood types who have second or third homes in the mountains here. They know where I stand politically, but we don’t talk about it much. They think I’m a caveman. A couple of weeks ago one of these clients was going on about how she (still) can’t get a good night’s sleep because of Trump, how he doesn’t deserve to be president, etc. She said his ex-wives and ex-business partners all hate him, but can’t say much because of confidentiality agreements, she says she knows people in New York who know Melania, and Melania hates him, but only plays the part because of Barron. She says he lies about everything – the $1 million loan from his father was really $41 million, the border crisis is manufactured, etc., etc. She sounded like she was auditioning for the weekend slot at MSNBC. I didn’t have much to say during her Trump rant, and when it was over, she looked me in the eye and asked, “you believe in global warming, don’t you?” . . . . . *sigh*

Envy of all types of success is what motivates them. Remember obama’s “You didn’t build that” & his spite for American exceptionalism. It’s all relative. It’s their state of mind.
@gin blossom – oh, there are plenty out here. I have sat through a few conversations, mostly at the coffee shop, letting them expostulate for a minute or two. They know I am conservative and usually don’t push it. But I have left on occasion. Had a nice, conservative conversation at the coffee shop yesterday for a few minutes – only because I knew the three of us present were conservative/thoughtful.
A “model”. “Stressed” about people not worshiping her for just… being… her. “Terrified” that people would find out what she’s doing. Because she can’t not “be who she is”! And deny the world her excellence! Who married a Trump staffer. Who worshiped how excellent she was. Just because she is. Just the way she is!

I weep for you, dear. And I sat down, to avoid swooning at the shock (the SHOCK, I say!) that these are the type of “men” that Trump surrounds himself with. And, now, it is time for me to kneel. And pray… for SMOD.
