Three wooden statutes that have graced a 15th-century chapel in the tiny Spanish town of Ranadoiro were in need of a little touch up, so one of the locals offered her services.
Now everyone is complaining that the Virgin Mary is sporting a pink shawl and eyeliner. More
Piety and a sincere desire to be of service to the church are certainly necessary for a project like this, but so are artistic talent and knowledge of and experience with restoration techniques.

I dig it
It’s one thing to tart up one’s plastic Christmas nativity, it’s another thing entirely to deface a centuries old church piece. Art items that have survived that long should be treated with the utmost care and respect, especially if they are religious relics.
Epic Fail but she tried.
It’s not that bad really.
She probably should have bought a few cheap plaster statues to practice on. And she is so proud of her handiwork!

Back in the days of my youth there was the most beautiful marble statuary one could imagine in the Cathedral of St Helena… Then along came Vatican II Wrecking Crew and the despicable, low down, filthy reprobates stripped the alters and put the statues out in the cemetery to be exposed to the Montana weather and within a few years they were all ruined.
This https://www.churchmilitant.com/video/episode/vortex-corrupt-top-to-bottom is another example of what they have deliberately and systematically done to destroy The Church from within.
Make no mistake about it, these two stories are 100% related, the progressive movement’s designs over the last six decades have been a coordinated effort to remake the world by destroying every thing to do with the the old order.
The Priest needed only to look at Her Fashion sense, to know the Statue’s would be attending a “Mexican Wedding”.
A village with a population of 16? And a comment from Luis Saro, the last person to restore the statues.. ?
How often do they ‘restore’ them? How many ‘artists’ per capita?
Jaysus, Mary, and Joseph!! They need to get cable in this village and keep the population entertained elsewhere.
