South Korea’s top prosecutor, Jin Kyung-joon, was arrested yesterday on charges of taking millions of dollars from Korean online game maker Nexon. It seems Mr. Jin had a sweetheart insider trading deal that ended up making him $11 million when the company went public in 2011.
South Korean authorities are also looking at Mr. Jin’s association with Korean Air, who reportedly bought off his silence in a tax investigation. The airline did so by giving a valuable contract to his brother-in-law’s company.
Q: What’s the difference between South Korean political corruption and Clinton corruption?
A: The Clintons always get a way with it.
