Using the justification of providing security for its students, North Carolina State University has placed surveillance cameras in side a some of the fraternity and sorority houses on its campus. The cameras are suppose to monitor entrances, but some of the cameras are set up in common areas inside those residences.
Perhaps the school should adopt Big Brother as their mascot now.
Oh – – FRATS. I thought it said FARTS.
It’s only “awkward” and not “unconstitutional”? The current generation is a bunch of mind-numbed drones.
The cameras installed in the showers have the most viewers.
“I see a camera
and I want it painted black.”
(apologies to the Stones)
izlamo delenda est …
So, in the interests of “fairness” and “equality”, can we also have cameras in the Dean’s and admin offices?
They’ve already got some damning footage from one of the cameras.

World Star Hip Hop ??
@TheMule – ha – saw that guy at a fundraising concert last year. Stephen Bishop has done pretty well, and has a few movie cameos as the guy strumming a guitar.
It’s all stupid and gross.
But are they going to do anything as bad as what’s on MTV at 2 in the afternoon? lol
Isn’t this a scene from the movie Revenge of the Nerds?
If this had happened in my day, we would have taken a photo of an empty room from the camera’s vantage point and posted the photo in front of the camera. Maybe I watched too much Mission Impossible as a kid.
I bet the cameras aren’t focused on the black girl dorms..only the white ones..
