  1. Eventually producers get tired of having the product of their labor taken from them and given to someone else who doesn’t produce, and they quit producing.

Behavior that is rewarded is repeated, behavior that is punished is extinguished. An axiom of behavioral sciences.

  2. I’ve said this for 20 yrs at least. Except I also believe any gov ernment employee cant vote. Anyone recieving anything from a gov. We had a school bond issue today. Those teachers were out in force beating the drum for more money via this bill.

  4. I’m a little conflicted on some of this. I know some elderly gals that barely get by on their social security and are supplemented with EBT cards. They have told me in past conversations the amount and it was either $8 or $16 a month. Most of them tell me they don’t use it for many months so when they do at least it is large enough to accomplish buying a few items. I would not want to see them lose their rights to vote. All the women I’m speaking of are widows who upon their husbands passing lost their husbands pension money. Now the people that have families and raise them on welfare I have a very different opinion of.

  5. I was surprised to see the 2016 vote breakdown: over 45 for Trump, under 45 for Hillary. A long time ago, it used to be around 30-35 was the tipping point in elections. I guess that’s what a lifetime of liberal indoctrination can do.

  6. Re: Widows losing their husbands pension money upon his death.

The husband chose the option of higher benefit payments during his lifetime over providing for his survivor after his death.

  8. People who live on the coasts should not vote. People who make more than$150k a year should not vote. People without kids should not vote. People who work for the government should not vote. People who drive expensive cars should not vote. News people should not vote. Commenters on websites should never get to vote, ever.

  9. If you consider withholding voting privileges to citizens who are on SS and MC, these are not entitlements as some like to call it. It was earned and paid by them, for decades. There wasn’t any options NOT to contribute to these funds. So don’t preach to me that senior citizens are leaching off of the government and therefore should have their voting rights withheld. Sorry. Start by arresting cheaters on the ballot stuffing.
