Nine months after new Sheriff Garry McFadden implemented sanctuary policies in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, his jail released a previously-deported Honduran man charged with rape and child sex offenses.
Oscar Pacheco-Leonardo, 33, was arrested by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for first degree rape and two counts of indecent liberties with a child on June 14.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said it issued a detainer on June 15, requesting custody, or for the jail to notify the agency when Pacheco will be released, but he was released from Mecklenburg County custody on June 16 with no communication to ICE. read more

March into Garry McFaddens office and arrest him on federal charges for hindering an federal investigation and assisting the escape of a federal fugitive. Make sure he’s cuffed and in front of cameras. If you don’t start playing for real the left will walk all over you.

FTA: McFadden has said his department won’t honor ICE detainers, or notify ICE when the jail is releasing an inmate with a detainer. He says ICE still has access to the jail database and can find that out for themselves.
Infuriating! Is that anything like, “you didn’t tell me he committed a murder!” Well, you didn’t ask! As if ICE isn’t already spread so thin, they’re now supposed to “inquire” of thousands of municipalities if they’re holding any illegals? The answer is YES, pick any town jail USA and guaranteed they have illegals behind bars.
As Howie Carr says, “I don’t want special treatment, just treat me like an illegal”.

North Carolina is in danger of turning blue. It has been flooded with progressive Northerners – mostly the East Coast and California
and illegals, for years now. All the largest cities; Charlotte, Raleigh and Durham are sanctuary cities and have sheriffs that refuse to uphold the law and work with ICE.
The governor, Roy Cooper is a true blue leftist. The only thing keeping thinks together is the Republican legislation. They are not the majority, but they are a stopgap for some of Cooper’s insane leftist policies.
