Tanner Foust was basically given the keys to San Diego last December and the chance to tear through the city in the early morning hours with a police escort closing the streets.
Using a hopped up Polaris Slingshot that looks like something out of a Batman movie, the Rallycross and Drift multi-champion demonstrates on city streets what the three wheeled vehicle is capable of doing.
If I ever need to race to the roof of a parking garage then spin donuts for twenty minutes, I’d pick the Slingshot.
At around $25,000 that looks like an affordable mid-life crisis-mobile.
Just watching it makes me wanna piss my pants! Holy crap!
Looks fun!
Did he break the time barrier? At 1:43, that looks like a pristine 70s station wagon he’s passing.
I have this to go fast on

@ Steve
Yikes what a bike!
No thank you. It’s a bit much for me. I wouldn’t be able to crank it like it’s meant to be. My lame-by-comparison Suzuki 1000 is scary/deadly enough.
If he keeps that shit up, I’m bying stock in Continental Tires. Yowieeeeee!
Now that’s the way to go through the Guggenheim.
I don’t know this person. BUTT. If he has children he would be great for car pooling. Daddy will you take me and my friends to school today?
(And every day). My 7 year old loves to go fast.
Built less than five miles from my house. See them on the road quite frequently.
