If there was ever a cautionary tale for America’s enemies of freedom and the Second Amendment, this is it.

Shotguns have “virtually sold out” in Austria, as citizens rush to buy arms amid fears of a massive influx of migrants, dealers claim.

-There are now thought to be an estimated 900,000 firearms in Austrian homes
-Police say around 70,000 guns have been sold this year alone in Austria
-Dealers say shotguns have almost sold out because you don’t need a permit
-Women are driving the sales rush, as fears grow amid the influx of refugees

    “Shotguns will not, after all, solve any immediate problems, quite the contrary,” he said.

    I beg to differ. A load (or multiple loads) of 12 gauge buckshot will quite effectively solve a lot of immediate problems …….. especially problems involving hordes of islamic invaders that are determined to kill all the infidels.

  4. Get to know the laws in your state. Give a copy to your women. Illinois has taught me this, ie, when to shoot.

  8. Even a .410 will do the job – may be the better choice for smaller people..

    Some people can’t handle 12 gauges more than one firing,

    Even a child could wield a .410 with multiple shots accurately.

  10. All this proves is that I’m not crazy for having multiple shotguns and thousands of cartridges varying from 2 3/4 #7 lead shot to 3 1/2″ slugs.

    Shotguns and related equipment are cheap and plentiful currently. IF (mighty big IF) for some reason they can successfully pull off a Yourapeon style gun ban in the US, you’ll wish you were out buying shotgun related items this very moment instead of reading this comment.

  11. For eons the superior Europeans have laughed. and scorNed the “redneck gun culture” in the U.S. they’ll be begging us for asylum within a few years when the “refugees” haves totally F’d over and terriorized their cities. Billy Bob and hiss arsenal will look pretty damn good then…

  13. I’m all for shotguns – limited home defense, putting food on the table etc, but they won’t gain you fire superiority over an enemy equipped with automatic weapons.

    Thanks to Comrade Kalashnikov, any rabble from 8 to 80 yrs old can make one of his fully autos function relatively effectively against civilian pops. However, as past events have demonstrated, if a government come for you, they’re bringing a helluva lot more than AK’s.

  16. And unlike a pistol or rifle, you won’t be shooting through walls into adjoining rooms of your home.

    The first round in my Mossberg 500 Tactical is #4 buckshot (not bird-shot), followed by #00 and one slug.

  17. I am an Endowment Member, my two daughters (2 years old and 6 years old) are Life Members. my son who is six months old will get a Life Membership from Dad for Christmas or his first birthday next May.

    All of them will be counseled by Dear ol’ Dad not to give one red cent to the NRA ILA, but to give money and donate time to the Education and Competition programs within the NRA.

    I also advise you all to give money to support the Bill of Rights, particularly the Second Amendment to Gun Owner’s of America (GOA) instead, the NRA is top-heavy with the same type of back-stabbing four flushers that infest the eGOP. Basically the NRA ILA has been taken over by an entrenched self-serving bureaucracy. I am a Life Member of GOA and you should be too and they have an Easy Pay program just like the NRA does.

    They will and have dry-shaved members and the gun owning public time after time. It has become apparent to me that these scoundrels are concerned about cutting deals with lobbying firms and the staff of eRepublicans for their own advancement and have forfeit any right to be given the benefit of the doubt.

    It is with great trepidation that I write this, but the truth is always the best policy AND DON”T forget to support the NRA education and competition programs, they have not bee affected so far as I know, they may not be as pure as driven snow… but they most certainly are very much on the up and up and are well managed and effective programs.
