Has The New York Times turned on Kamala, the nation’s most unpopular vice president?
It’s hard to imagine. The Times on Friday posted a hit on Kamala Harris titled, “Joy is Not a Strategy.”
Then, on Monday, The NY Times published an op-ed titled, “Trump Can win on character,” something that must have made the leftist elites vomit in their mouths.
It didn’t take long for the happy boost from the fantasy convention to flatline. On Monday night, former Biden spox Jen Psaki faced a harsh reality when Don Lemon told her that “no one” knows who Kamala Harris is in the swing states he visited last week. read more
I think that Don Lemon point is the key. Of course people will vote for their party. But Dems were familiar with Biden, many don’t even know who Kamala is. Similarly, many may not know who JD Vance is, but as a VP candidate it is largely irrelevant. As a presidential candidate it is a thousand times more important.
If she had a strong policy to sell… but yeah, Trump has a great list of policy items, which most Americans agree with. Kamala has nothing good – and anything that people might like is something she stole from Trump/Vance, and which she wouldn’t implement anyway.

I don’t get it. The communist party, including the New York Times, NEVER says anything bad about fellow commies. Why is the NYTs turning on one of their own this time? There’s more to this story. Does not make sense.
What is the NYT(CIA) game here? They have no way to ditch her through relatively normal means. They’d have to kill her outright. And they certainly wouldn’t telegraph their disdain for her before doing that.
Bit there is obviously some buyer’s remorse being expressed. Maybe there’s a deep state split between factions over whether the steal will work this time, simply because she and Joe have been so awful. It’s obvious that they want somebody from well outside the Biden-Harris blast radius, but they’re too far down the road to change course. Again.
Unless those rumors of a looming “Constitutional Crisis” to which Bad_Brad refers are more than rumors. I have a feeling that all of the shooting and shooing of Summer are leading to fireworks in the Fall, because there is no Joy in Mudville. Somebody is about to strike out.
