NYC Black Lives Matter marches can continue despite large-event ban, de Blasio says

FOX- The mayor said the demonstrators’ calls for social justice were too important to stop.

Mayor Bill de Blasio is permitting Black Lives Matter protesters to continue marching through city streets while canceling all large events through September.

Speaking on CNN Thursday night, de Blasio said the demonstrators’ calls for social justice were too important to stop after more than a month of demonstrations have not led to an outbreak of coronavirus cases.

“This is a historic moment of change. We have to respect that but also say to people the kinds of gatherings we’re used to, the parades, the fairs — we just can’t have that while we’re focusing on health right now,” de Blasio told host Wolf Blitzer. more

  1. If this does not prove what a racist Bastard he is,,,
Just hope to see an “after” video of this massacre.
It might be worse than the “Million Man March” when wanting a view having to swing from a tree to get a good look.

  2. Zero fucks given. The people of NYC voted this turd with legs into office, so they get what they deserve. If they don’t like him, then flush his sorry ass down the crapper.

  3. Real estate values are plummeting especially in my tony commuter hometown in CT. Mr. C drives for a limo co. and young people are coming down to SC/GA/FL in droves for a month(!) at a time to escape NY. Why not – now they work from anywhere. It’s so crazy that the most $$$ resort here, a Montage called Palmetto Bluff, is completely booked.

  4. So NONE of this is about health or safety, it’s all democrat politics and never letting a crisis go to waste, huh?
I hope the left gets absolutely SLAUGHTERED in November.
