I saw this yesterday and noticed that in the other yard a dog came racing around from the side of the house. I wonder what became of that dog.

That guy at the end….ugh.
The girl said she didn’t think about anything but protecting the dogs.
Glad she’s ok.

Mama’s protecting their cubs! It doesn’t apply exclusively to bears!

Humans Bad. Bears good.
As the dude says humans are encroaching on Nature.
Bears to get more rights and voting power to curtail invasion of humans.
21
Slingshot my ass, shoot the damn bear and kill it and make a nice rug out of its hide.

Kill me please

“local expert”… more like douchebag hippie. I hope the pot patch he gets his medical marijuana from is not encroaching on bear territory.

Like that mom needs a service dog. Right

Don’t know about slingshots for deterring a bear. However, I have heard that “noise makers” chambered in .44 Magnum with solid cast 320 grain bullets seem to do the trick in dealing with those pesky bears.

Reminds me of the time I pushed a sheep through a fence…

I’ve been wishing for a hat like bear expert guy’s. It needs to have a gray pony tail attached in back so I can fit in the next time I go to Santa Fe.
7
A Mossberg Patriot chambered in .375 Ruger works, too.

Wildlife expert f*** off. Any dog lover is going to do what they can to protect their dog(s). I hate when the news adds that bullshit to the end of any story such as this.

“Honestly, I didn’t even know it was Joe Biden until right after I pushed the button for my vote. I didn’t register in my head that he was going to destroy our country. I was like he’s an animal and he’s taking my country, and I pushed the button and I was like OMG I just voted for Joe.”

File that one under “Thing you do without thinking”

I’ll never forget the guy I met who was having eye lids made in a Pittsfield MA hospital after a incident with a bear.

She saw a threat to her pets and instinctively reacted before thinking about the possible consequences.
Very much like Biden’s impulsive reaction when he comes within reach of a young girl.

If you have to wear a stupid hat on a Zoom call so that people know you’re a “nature expert”, you’re not a very convincing one.
In any physical altercation, the advantage is always going to the one who’s NOT standing on a 6” wide block wall.
10
Two observations: They are your DOGS, not your KIDS. One of the problems with today’s society is people have elevated animals to the level of humans, and reduced children to “a clump of cells”.
Secondly: That’s your mother? They look close enough in age to be sisters.

Ahhhhh………to be 40-50 years younger. With that kind of bravado, I’d date her at least once.

They worked as a team. She saved the dogs and the dogs saved her.

Another reason to carry.

Bears hate packs of dogs. We live at the back of a mountain and have regular visits from bears. Our 15 pounder regularly scares them off.
2
She would have jailed in South Lake Tahoe.
Wow – I really learned something important today.
If not for the nature expert at the end I would have never guessed it is dangerous to run up and push an 800 pound bear that is under attack.
4
We didn’t need to see the greasy hippy at the end. Who the hell doesn’t know that what she did was dangerous? The media is shit.
8
Support the right to keep and arm bears!

The girl is pretty badass. As for the asshole guy at the end: I am so sick of these imbeciles with their “encroaching on their habitat” nonsense. Humans have every right to live on this planet and they don’t go wandering into bear dens. That bear was encroaching on the human’s habitat.
2
Dumb ass leftists never think it through. When I hear people say I’m encroaching on the territory of wild animal, I think “it’s my territory now”.
The wild animals can get off my front yard.
1
The young lady did a brave thing. I wonder if she had her make-up on when she shoved the bear off the wall.
She (not the bear) is good looking.

It’s true! Humans are just as much a part of nature as bears.

TimBuktu: So is her mom.
