Ohio: Cafeteria Monitor And A School Principal Finally Receive Some Justice After Video Shows They Forced A 9-Year-Old To Eat Out Of The Trash Can

USA Supreme: A Northeast Ohio family says it is painful to watch a video, just released, showing a nine-year-old girl being forced to eat food out of a school cafeteria trash can.

The Lorain City School District released the heavily-blurred video Wednesday afternoon.

A cafeteria monitor and the school’s principal ended up being fired over the incident.

According to the little girl’s attorney, watching the video brought back all the feelings of humiliation and embarrassment she felt right after the incident, which will eventually be heard in federal court.

“What we see is a student finish with her lunch… again, a student finish with her lunch and she goes to throw the lunch away like hundreds and thousands of students across the country do every day,” said Jared Klebanow, one of the attorneys for the girl’s family.

The surveillance video was taken last November from the cafeteria of Palm Elementary School. The school district blurred students’ faces before releasing the footage. more

  1. Maybe if that gigantic bitch, cunt, dick, I really don’t know the adjective to use for it, Mike Obama wouldn’t have forced schools to feed kids’ food they don’t want, the student wouldn’t have thrown it out.

The first step has been taken; they were fired.

The second step is to put them in jail for child abuse. If you or I fed a child from the trash, that is where we would be.

  2. “During their investigation, Lorain City School officials say the student threw away a packaged food item, and the employee removed it, wiped it off, gave it back to the girl, who opened it and ate it.”

I’m not defending the cafeteria worker, but it was an unopened, packaged food item, not something half-eaten and thrown away for God’s sake.

  3. A commenter on the original article said “No big deal. It was a packaged item. Overblown.” I beg to differ. Twice in my young life I was forced to eat food I did not want. The first time, I threw up and developed an aversion to that particular dish which has lasted a lifetime. Do do remember the teacher…the bitch.

No, it’s not life shattering, but it is a form of child abuse just to assert dominance over a child.

  4. Would the monitor have eaten the item taken from the trash? Fed it to her own? Didn’t think so. Having lived in Lorain decades ago i can say it is the a**hole of Ohio.

Fed it to her own? Yes she would, more likely than not. School = prog = prog more likely than not. Progs look at children as fashion accessories under the best of circumstances, but I sit on a commuter train for a couple hours daily and their conversations make it clear that children are seen as lifestyle encumbrances to many of the subhuman pieces of shit.

  6. Eugenia, I was born in Lorain and lived there until my early 30s and most of my family is still there. I can never go back. If you think it was a shithole then, you should see it now.

Fuck w/anyone’s kids and it is their obligation as a parent worthy of the title to make an example of you. Hopefully this lawsuit does exactly that.

  8. The problem with the education system as it is today, is that when a teachable moment comes along, nobody uses it constructively.
The proper way would have been to reach into the garbage can, extract the item, and discretely instruct the girl on how not to waste food (or anything, for that matter).
I’m surprised that of all the comments here in a supposedly conservative group, none realized that.
