DailyCaller: Heroin use in the United States increased by nearly 80 percent between 2007 and 2012 alone, and The New York Times’ main reaction to this depressing fact is to be overjoyed that the new addicts are mostly white.
The important point is not that ragingly addictive drugs are sweeping small-town America, young lives are being cut short, or that we lost one of the most talented actors of his generation to a heroin overdose. What matters is that that the drug epidemic is not having a disparate impact. MORE

Sorry. I ordered the Mexican heroin. It makes for a nice housewarming gift.
Me, too. It’s cheaper to pay my lawn crew with smack than dollars. Plus, they keep coming back frequently to trim my hedges and weed the flower beds. Win-win!
Used to be the left characterized heroin users as people without any foreseeable hope, future or acceptance.
Oh,,, wait !
My granddaughter is a heroin addict, and my great grandson is autistic. It’s not funny. At all.
Blacks gave up heroin for K2, synthetic marijuana. Go catch some reports on its usage and you’ll find most are black or hispanic with a light salting of whites.
we need to just open the borders some MORE with dingleberry mexico. That will make a EVEN bigger SHIT-HOLE COUNTRY! obozo needs to make this crap free also. no has to work any more. OH WAIT! never mind.
I recently had a long telephone conversation with a bud from my home (small) town and he was lamenting how many people he knew that were strung out on heroin.
I am currently attending a Citizen Academy put on by my local police department in Southern California.
We had a presentation by the Narcotics Unit. They said that Mexico has gotten rid of its marijuana fields because of the competition with the various states in the US that allow marijuana use.
They replaced these fields with poppies from China. They told us to expect to see a rise in heroin use.
And sizzurp with codeine. It appears that Chris Brown and his posse, for example, can’t go anywhere or do anything without it.
Let’s see them report on that epidemic in the black population.
I almost lost my son at the age of 25, about 8 years ago to a heroin overdose. He came too close to od’ing for comfort. When he called me to come and get him he was scared to death, I’ve never seen him more scared in my life. Fortunately for him sending him to rehab helped but mostly it was God, his girlfriend, now wife and a very loyal friend who helped him. Thomas is doing well now which I, his sisters, cousins, family and friends are extremely thankful for. And luckily for me I didn’t become a murderer because I was ready to kill the bastard who got him hooked, I knew who it was and I really wanted to kill him especially if my son had died from an overdose. I have a good friend who lost one of his sons to a heroin overdose, it is not a pretty thing.
It’s hateful and racist to say that rapists, criminals, drugs, and heroin come from mexico – only good shit and love come out of mexico – I saw it on TV … CHEB!, Marco, Jorge, Obola, Harry, Nancy, and some others tole me.

I think it’s gonna be tough to get a thumb up.
Bible talks about the rise of pharmekea.
Or, sorceries. Heroin is friggin’ horrible, am thankful it has never crossed my path except for a couple acquaintences who used to do it (heroin, lortabs)..years ago, and now, dead.
OMG, thought sure you were referring to Selena Gomez. Who besides Selena could rid us of Justin Bieber ??
my understanding is that heroin is surging because coke is way more expensive now.
Makes for a great diet drug with the effect of doing everything for a fix including buying the drug rather than food stuffs. I’ve know all to many hefty women that have become suddenly thin as a result.
I am glad to hear of your son’s recovery. I lost a lot of friends to drugs before I left Calif. It’s a terrible thing.
My little brother’s best friend back in L.A. had everything going for him: great job, Cadillac convertible, new Harley Davidson, and yet only 19 years old. Then he met a Swedish girl in a bar, and she was into heavy drugs. Fatal mistake. His family found him dead in his room from an overdose of heroin.
There were several other drug overdoses in that same neighborhood. Two of them were brothers who died a few years apart. You would think the one left living would have learned a lesson from the death of his brother.
And you cannot trust a heroin addict, they will steal anything to get another fix.
