The Hill: Bill O’Reilly’s ratings at Fox News were up last week as news that he paid $13 million to five women who accused him of sexual harassment and improper conduct made headlines.
“The O’Reilly Factor” averaged more than 3.7 million total viewers and 652,000 in the key 25-54 demographic last week.
When compared to the same week in 2016, O’Reilly’s primetime program was up 28 percent in total viewers and 42 percent in the key demographic that advertisers covet most, according to Nielsen Research. read more
If O’Reilly can maintain those numbers or the dropoff is small the advertisers will be back. The market is getting tighter and tighter out there and no firm will pass up getting their message to their audience. If there is any brushback by the left the company just had to say that they made their statement and that they’re sure O’Reilly won’t transgress again.
Now that defines irony right there!
Good. I’m not a fan, but no one should be judged guilty, let alone punished, before all the evidence is in.
A new gold rush is on!
It has nothing to do with Bellowing Bill and everything to do with the fact most people want to watch teevee shows with fewer commercials.
Blowreilly is a self consumed jackass. For me unwatchable for last 6-8 years.
I wont waste more than this 3 minutes thinking about him.
Do the women that received millions of dollars from Bill also get free Bill O’Reilly premium memberships?
– And a free signed copy of Bill’s latest book that he hawks for ten minutes of every show?
I just don’t care. 🙂
I have forgotten what caused a flock of sponsors to drop Rush Limbaugh a decade ago or so. He had no trouble picking up new sponsors and those who had pulled the plug were not able to get back on his show. Florida Orange juice spokesperson, Anita Bryant, was anti-gay, she was pulled after the gay community raised a ruckus. She was fired and Florida Orange just was pulled from Rush’s show. Lots of idiots out there.
Buffalo Bull Is alive and well, there are a lot more stupid people that I had thought possible.
@mo: Too late.
