I dunno. I smell hoax. I’ll tell you why.
In his video he makes a huge point that the box was unbroken and still sealed. When was this photo taken? This JUST happened and he claims Whole Foods is giving him no satisfaction. Wouldn’t you keep the box sealed?
Also, the writing is different. The FAG part is thinner and the person created the “f” differently than the “e.” (The starts and stops.)
You could say that someone else in the store added the FAG after another employee wrote Love Wins. But it’s been my experience that the person who does the writing puts it in the box and seals it.
The pastor says the seal wasn’t tampered with.
And the real kicker – I don’t know anyone that orders a cake with special writing and doesn’t look at it when picking it up. It’s the FIRST thing I do.
No way, no how.
I’m not buying it, either. Just another attention whore looking for his 15 minutes
@BFH – Agreed.
Pastor, your story stinks to high heaven. It is disappointing to see someone in your line of work go down the same path as the rape, racism, and raghead “victim” hoaxsters. Shame on you.
If the box was/is unopened, how can one see what’s inside? I don’t see any cellophane top to the box. Am I missing something?
It’s racist and homophobic to not give a black gay guy something to get his victimization fix from. Damn white straight peoples making him go out and create his own damn oppression.
There should be a law against such things.
Maybe the kid the pastor ass-raped did it as a cry for help?
COD, it was a cellophane topped box, which makes the story even more absurd.
They don’t bag the box at the bakery area. You have to walk to the cashier with it.
This is what you call fake and gay.
They are all fake. It’s all the trash of Obama’s half of America can do. Defraud each other.
Why would he buy the Cake from Whole Foods when he could get the same cake 40% cheaper other places?
Brown says he didn’t realize what it said until he got into his vehicle….then went home
Boloney
Surely the check out person would have seen it – my experience is that check out persons, especially the ladies, are quite perceptive.
A gay pastor. Isn’t that like a Christian stripper?
If you have even shopped at whole foods you know there isn’t a conservative working in the place who would put that on a cake. In fact I have been “bag shamed” for using paper bags instead of bringing my own by a obese, tatted, overly pieced, seriously effeminate guy at the check out! ?
Every time I pick up a birthday cake at the local bakery I say “You misspelled it,” though they never do. It used to freak them out, but after waaaaayyyy too many birthdays they know me now and are ready with an icing squeeze bag to threaten me.
Should I sue?
That’s a weak looking ‘G’ and if it was an in your face statement where’s the exclamation point!
Hoax.
If love wins fag, what do I get for hate?
@Brad – Whole Foods slogan is “Why Pay Less?”
The letters in FAG were placed on the cake left to right and that is why it is slightly off center. You start by placing the A in the center where you want it then it stays symmetrical.
Shame on the pastor who doesn’t turn the other cheek.
F A 6
I don’t get it?
I’m a baker. No way this happened. We always show the customer the finished cake before sealing the box. Also, we seldom ever use blockhand unless we use a specific font. Very amateurish hoax.
In decades of cake buying at many places never has the baker failed to show me the cake with or without writing.
This says it all – his lawyer AND he’s suing
Church of Open Back doors?
Wasn’t “Love Wins” a hit movie from the Film Actors Guild?
This doesn’t quite come up to the sliced dead mouse in the loaf of sliced bread, but Whole Foods has deep pockets. WF should counter sue for a frivolous suit. Or, since he’s gay, a “frilly suit.”
Simple, straight-line letters but a different shade of blue? Amateur fraudster.
…and why deplete your bank account at WF when Publix does better work for less?
Why would they write it out across the top like that anyway?
For starters, no such thing as a gay pastor. Imposter, maybe.
He’s the pastor at FAG = First Assembly of God.
The LOVE WINS First Assembly of God Church.
For the gay pastor comments – all I can say is I have been taking care of a gay Christian church for over 22 years.
Not going to try to explain them, but they love God, Jesus and you. They are serious and happy.
Eh, as long as HOLE Foods offers the preacher a ‘safe space’, I’m sure it will all work out.
Ann, Whole Foods is coming down hard on the lying queer.
They released a video too:
