Pelosi: ‘I Think the Press Were Accomplices in the Undermining of Our Election’.

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) passed blame on to the press for giving attention to revelations uncovered by WikiLeaks, which made public emails by top Clinton aide John Podesta and the Democratic National Committee.

When asked by host Jake Tapper if then-President Barack Obama could have done more to strike back against Russia, who is widely believed to be responsible for the WikiLeaks material, Pelosi called the press “accomplices.”

“Well, I think that President Obama handled it as he received information of that — of the highest confidence,” she said. “I do think, with all due respect in the world for the press, that the press could have done a better job, instead of printing every email that came out, and saying this comes to you from Vladimir Putin, they were, hah, hah, hah, John Podesta said this or that. I think the press were accomplices in the undermining of our election by the Russians by not pointing out this stuff is worthless because it comes from an undermining of our election, or at least reminding the public where this — these emails, the leaking of these emails came from.

    – Obama was an 8-yr disaster.
    – The press told us Hillary had it in the bag.
    – The press beat on Trump and his supporters all the way.
    – The Trump groundswell was ignored as it built momentum.
    – The DNC was corrupt and Wikileaks simply put it out there and showed real emails that were really written by really bad people.

  13. The Democrats had some relatively sane American Democrats vying for Minority Leader but they chose Nancy Pelosi instead.

    The Democrats had some relatively honest Democrats vying for the presidential nomination but they picked Hillary instead.

    But it’s not the Democrats’ fault they are the minority party.

  22. This gives me hope. The Democrats still can’t find anyone capable of both pushing their screeching, flailing grandparents back down in their seats while telling them to “hush,” and wrapping their minds completely around the idea that it had nothing to do with “the messaging” coming from “that mass rapist, Julian Assange” instead of “that clean, Don Lemon boy” as opposed to the content of the message. Even the rare Democrat capable of one, or the other, won’t dampen the pyre.

  23. No wonder this planet has never been invaded by aliens- they see that we already have our own local aliens living here and they wouldn’t have a chance dealing with the stupidity.
