(The Center Square) – Former President Donald Trump appears to be chipping away at President Joe Biden’s northeastern blue wall with gains in New Hampshire, Virginia and now New Jersey, according to recent polls.
Amid mounting pressure from fellow Democrats for Biden to exit the presidential race, the latest polling from some key blue states may not be the news the Biden campaign longs to hear.
A recent poll of likely New Jersey voters shows Trump leading Biden 41%-40%, with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at 7%. The poll, conducted by co/efficient, a market research company, surveyed over 800 likely voters June 26-27 right before the presidential debate. more
Washington State is polling near even. The big thing is if people who quit participating after the 2004 gubernatorial election theft vote or not. The Democrats and Republican establishment are hopeful that they will not vote.
Watch as. November looms closer, the polls will miraculously show the gap closing within the margin of error, to make the steal more believable.
Here’s where having Kennedy in the race helps. He provides a jumping off point for those who won’t vote for Trump but can’t bring themselves to vote for Biden.
This is all purely conjecture. Trump will not break the democrat blue wall any more than he could compete in Illinois.
