Just last week a very good tipster sent a story about a flier that was showing up on telephone poles. The Southern Poverty Law Center called the organization a hate group. The idea was valid – why should we believe SPLC when they brand everyone a racist and a Nazi?
But, ultimately, I backed off publishing it because I recognized who the group was and I’m not interested in playing apologists for these nutbags.
Nathan Damigo, the head of the group, is the guy who famously punched the Antifa girl in the face.
We covered that story because it was nice to see Antifa getting their asses kicked, male or female and everything in between. But I’m no fan of Damigo. The guy is actually a leftist. (This is the blurry line of who is fighting who at these Antifa/”alt right” brawls.)
